“The Court of Owls” is an illustration based on one of the tracks from the album “In No Man’s Memory” of the Italian band “Proliferhate”. Based on the song that is also titled “The Court of Owls” the artist came up with this central concept of an allegorical representation of the Inquisition and the atrocities it committed. There are a lot of architectural and sartorial details in this artwork that are very carefully and realistically represented and that add to the idea of the owls personification. The present illustration was designed to serve as a promotional poster for the band, as well as a design for official band T-shirts."
